Visual Communication Design

The Visual Communication Design (DKV) Study Program at Universitas Pembangunan Jaya (UPJ) is here to shape visual communicators who are creative, innovative, and able to answer challenges in the digital communication era. With a practice-based curriculum approach and strong theoretical concepts, we prepare students to master the art of visual storytelling through various media.
 
We offer advantages such as an innovative CITY Curriculum, experienced practitioner lecturers, complete design studio facilities, and a network of collaboration with the creative industry. Unique to UPJ is the Living Laboratory supported by Jaya Group, giving students hands-on experience working on real design projects for urban needs.
 
Students will explore various areas of expertise including graphic design, animation, multimedia, illustration, and branding. The program is taken in 8 semesters (4 years) with a Bachelor of Design (S.Ds.) degree.
